Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 August 2026
РусскийWhat these terms are
Kotomka is a personal dashboard: your spheres of life, tasks, habits, skills, journal and finances in one place. The service runs at kotomka.app; questions, requests and complaints go to hello@kotomka.app.
By using Kotomka you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is a separate document — the privacy policy.
Your account
- you sign in with a one-time code sent by email or with Yandex ID; Kotomka has no passwords;
- the account is personal: whoever can read the mailbox the code is sent to holds the key to it — keep it safe; if you notice a sign-in that is not yours, end that session on the “Devices” screen and write to us;
- you must be at least 16 years old to use Kotomka;
- you are responsible for what happens in your account.
What it costs
Kotomka is free today and asks for no card. If paid features appear, we will announce them in advance, and the data you have already entered will stay available to you. The AI assistant is not billed by us: you pay your AI provider directly with your own API key.
Your data stays yours
Everything you put into Kotomka belongs to you. We claim no rights to your content, never sell it and never show it to anyone. What we store and why is described in the privacy policy.
Your data lives both on the server and as a copy in your browser, but please do not make Kotomka the only home of something truly important: outages, bugs and lost access happen to every service.
What you must not do
- break the service, circumvent its limits, or generate load with scripts and automated requests beyond normal use of the app;
- attempt to reach other people’s accounts and data;
- store or distribute through Kotomka anything prohibited by law, or other people’s data you have no right to;
- pass Kotomka off as your own product or resell access to it.
Calendars, AI and other third-party services
Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, AI providers and the AI clients you connect to the MCP connector are third-party services. You connect them at your own decision, and they operate under their own rules: their own terms, their own limits and their own billing.
We are responsible for our part — for how Kotomka handles the data of those services (see the privacy policy) — but not for their outages, changes or shutdowns.
The service is provided “as is”
Kotomka is provided as is. We do our best to keep everything running and nothing lost, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation, absence of bugs or preservation of data under any circumstances. Kotomka is a planner, not a bank, an accountant or a medical service: do not base money or health decisions on its prompts. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.
Ending the relationship
You can leave at any time: write to hello@kotomka.app from the address you sign in with and we will delete your account and all of your data.
We may close access if an account violates these terms or harms other users and the service. Should Kotomka ever shut down, we will announce it in advance rather than disappear silently.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change together with the product. The current version is always on this page, with the update date at the top. Significant changes will be shown in the app itself or sent by email.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation. Disagreements are first addressed by correspondence: write to hello@kotomka.app and we will look into it. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is resolved in court under the jurisdiction rules established by law.
